Is Woebot free to use?​

Woebot is only available to new users in the United States who are part of a study or who have an access code from their provider, employer or other Woebot Health partner.

We have found that people have the best experience when Woebot is delivered under the supervision of a healthcare provider, so we are partnering with health plans and health systems to make Woebot available to the people they serve.

How can I download Woebot?

Woebot is currently available for iOS and Android.

Note: Woebot is currently only available in the United States through select partner and research programs.

How can I change the time of day that Woebot checks in at?

You can update when Woebot checks in with you in the Settings section of the app.

  1. Tap the gear icon in the upper-left hand corner of the Woebot app
  2. Tap Change Check-in time
  3. Select a new check-in time

Woebot will check-in with you during the new time that you choose.

How can I undo my last response to Woebot?​

You can undo your most recent response to Woebot by long pressing the reply and selecting Undo Message from the pop-up menu.

Can I request a copy of my conversations?

To request a copy of your side of your conversations with Woebot, contact us through the app or at support@woebothealth.com from your account’s email address.

We don’t give you a copy of your transcripts as you’d expect. It doesn’t display as a script of the conversation between you and Woebot. Rather, it is a copy of all your data. You’ll be sent a copy of what you’ve said to Woebot, but know that Woebot’s replies are not currently included in your transcript.

We do not access or filter through any of your information and the transfer of data is done through many means of encryption so as to protect our user’s data.

How can I get Woebot to stop checking in each day?

If you no longer need Woebot to check in on your moods each day, simply turn off notifications for Woebot in your device’s settings. You’ll stop receiving daily check-in notifications but you’ll still be able to check-in manually from within the app.

Is my data encrypted?

Yes. All of your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest with 256-bit encryption or higher. We also follow procedures required by HIPAA for the anonymization and transmission of your data.

Can I password protect my messages?

You can protect your messages using your device’s biometric features by following the steps below:

  • Tap the Settings icon in the Woebot app
  • Tap Manage Security
  • Tap Biometric Lock
  • Tap the toggle to enable the Biometric Lock

How can I delete my data and account?

To delete your account and associated data, please contact us by clicking here or submitting a request in the Woebot app.

To submit a request in the Woebot app:

  • Tap the Settings icon in the Woebot app
  • Tap Send Feedback
  • Select Delete Account

Note: Clinical study participants cannot delete their accounts during the duration of the study.
